Do you get emails from Creating Keepsakes Magazine?? If you do, then you'll know what these are. If not, here's a peek....
This page was made using the website http://www.wordles.net/ and the words are called a word cloud. They are super easy to make on this website and print out directly or to save and use on a later project. You can even use them for digital scrapping. There are lots of possibilities, you could make a neat card with these too!
1. Go to http://www.wordle.net/ to create your word cloud and follow the prompts.
2. When finished, click PRINT.
3. When your print menu appears, go to the drop-down menu to select the printer you want to use. Select Adobe PDF, then click PRINT.
4. When your PDF document appears, click on EXPORT at the top of your toolbar, then select JPEG and save.
5. Open your image-editing software and use your Wordle word cloud as desired.
Here's one I made and just clicked 'randomize' until I liked the way it looked!

Mixed up albums
I think these are so cool and wanted to make one... So I did!
I cut all my shapes using Plantin Schoolbook and George at about 6 or 7 inches, turning this
Into this!
I still need to add some more embellishments and order a few more prints to finish it, but you get the idea :) The arrow and the last page I cut freehand, but the rest were done on the Cricut. I also used nothing but scraps to make the entire project, so it didn't cost me a thing!

Christmas pictures
I finally got around to hooking up my camera today, and here's a few pictures!
First up is Christmas Eve pajamas! I heard they had some Super Mario Brothers ones at Kohl's so off I went. Anyone who knows my son knows that he loves ALL THINGS Mario and anything related slightly to Mario LOL, so I knew they would be a hit. I searched for a bit and they only had sizes 4, 6, and 8. Ummm, crap! The 8's would probably just fit, but not for long :( I searched the racks just in case I missed a larger size, but there weren't any. A fellow shopper saved the day by telling me that Fred Meyer also had SMB jammies, so I went there and they had just one size 10 left!! Woohoo! He was yelling "These are AWESOME!" over and over again. And this is his camera smile, Oy!
I found these for Adrian at Fred Meyer too, and she adores pigs!!
The hit of the day on Christmas was this ladybug tea set that Grandpa nad Grandma gave her, and she has been having tea parties ever since!
And one shot of the unwrapping...
Grandma and Grandpa (AKA Santa!) also brought us a Wii an Aaron loves it! Kasoma has even played it a few times, and he has never been much into video games. He doesn't like tennis though ;)

Kasoma-isms
So my dh has this odd talent of making everyday words into his own weird version, and it got me to thinking. There are so many of them that I should make a list! This would be a fun scrapbook page someday :) He has been doing this for so long that the kids are starting to use some of them!
For example:
Trader Joe's is "Trader Steve's" or "Trader Ho-Bags"
Cash -N- Carry is "White Trash -N- Carry"
Fred Meyers is "Dread Meyers"
Cost Cutter is "Crap Cutters"
Aaron is "Sharon", "Sparon", "Karen", "Flaren", 'Baron", etc.
Adrian, also known is Sissy, is "Prissy", or "Fladrian"
"Go, Diego, Go" is "Go, Spagehtti Sauce, Go" because he calles him Prego instead of Diego LOL!
I will add more when I think of some more :)

Decorating our tree
We finally got around to putting up the tree! We just have a little one, about 4 feet tall. I think I am going to have to go look for a bigger one soon, we couldn't even use 1/2 the ornaments!
The Christmas of 1994 Kasoma and I had very few Christmas ornaments so we decided to make some. This was in my pre-scrapping days, so it is all construction paper, tape and glitter, GASP!!
We were both in school so couldn't aford much, and even made some paper candy canes!
Kasoma made this 'gingerbreadman' but he has since lost an arm.
This is one of 3 angels
He is very fond of Volkswagens and this is a VW Squareback. I used to drive a bright ORANGE one!
Awww, such a sweetie!
A reindeer and a paper version of me, complete with scissors :) We had one of Kasoma, but it is in pieces and needs to be put back together.
And a rocking horse
And of course an angel on top, made by Aaron in preschool a few years ago.

Playing in the snow today
We decided to venture out today after being in the house for pretty much 4 days! It was just above freezing today, so much warmer than that highs of about 20 degrees we have been having! Aaron had school cancelled on Thrusday and Friday and Adrian didn't go to preschool at all this week since it is in Ferndale. We went to do a bit of grocery shopping and then played otuside.
Here's our yard
I figured the only way to keep them outside for longer than 5 minutes was to make something to play with :) I remember doing something similar with my mom when I was a kid!
At first Aaron wanted to make an Igloo, but that was a little above my snow skills LOL, so we settled for a snow tunnel instead.
