We decided to venture out today after being in the house for pretty much 4 days! It was just above freezing today, so much warmer than that highs of about 20 degrees we have been having! Aaron had school cancelled on Thrusday and Friday and Adrian didn't go to preschool at all this week since it is in Ferndale. We went to do a bit of grocery shopping and then played otuside.

I figured the only way to keep them outside for longer than 5 minutes was to make something to play with :) I remember doing something similar with my mom when I was a kid!









At first Aaron wanted to make an Igloo, but that was a little above my snow skills LOL, so we settled for a snow tunnel instead.

We got more snow last night

Not a ton, but enough to cover my car all over again! We are going a little stir crazy inside for the last 3 days so we are going to venture out today :)

The next morning...

Even more snow! I was supposed to work until 10 pm last night but the mall closed at 5. I was still there working on a client until 8, but it was an UGLY drive home! Here's another pic out my front window. It is hard to see any accumulation on the trees because the winds have blown it all off, but there is about 6 inches or so on the ground! I have a full book today at work so I am heading in there about 2:30 0r so.

More snow...

It snowed a bit more last night so today school was on a 2 hour delay, again! Then about 20 minutes before we went out to wait for the bus it started snowing again. Adrian is bummed because we haven't gone to preschool either Monday or today, and she wants to go! But it is a ways away in Ferndale so no driving for me, thank you very much :)

Snow

It is so cold here the last few days!!! We got snow on Saturday night/Sunay morning, about 3 inches or so. It is still here and FREEZING. but the kids are having fun!
