I got another one done yesterday! I went to a scrap retreat in early August and I am going to another in Oct and I don't want to unpack and re-pack all my totes so I am leaving them alone LOL. I went through my 'extra' photos and decided to scrap this one since it hasn't been done. It's an oldie but a goodie! My son is 7 and just started 2nd grade a few days ago and this pic is from his first Easter, in 2002. He was about 10 months old, how time flies!!! This pic was taken at my LSS. For a few years they would set up a mini studio in the corner for a day or two around easter and take these pics for free and just charge to print the 4x6 or 5x7, I got a few shots that day!
I used all Scenic Route papers for this plus the two colors of cardstock. This is my favorite way to use paper like this, becuase I don't have to cut up a bunch of sheets to get a few scraps, very handy!

Hi Shasta -- that sure is a cute layout and I like the use of the brightly oolord scraps.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I would like to thank you for linking my minibook page on your blog and at the Baby Center. I would like to let you know that I moved and I have a new URL so your readers will not be disappointed with a dead link.

Hey Shasta - I had to laugh out loud (LOL) when I read this post, because I'm doing the same thing - don't want to unpack from our August Retreat before our October Retreat at Fort Flagler!! Also - so many of us are using our energy for the Breast Cancer 3Day - just think - Next Week at this time it will be done and we will have accomplished a great thing!! Looking forward to seeing you on Friday - Hugs - Gayle
