Custom Disney Album {9 3/4 by 8 1/2, with a 4 inch spine} **SOLD**

So I had to make another one of these, my second of three I have completed actually!  I may have enough supplies to make a third one, though smaller.  I think this one has the most 'stuff' in it, a lot of tags and pockets and flaps.  Flaps upon flaps!  I used mainly the Simple Stories Say Cheese collection of papers and accessories, with a few other random papers to supplement.
I also made a YouTube video.  It isn't at all fancy and made with my phone, but shows what is hard to explain in pictures!

The front cover has a flap that is held closed by a magnet, with room for photos or journaling underneath.  The chipboard pieces are from the collection, however the banner piece is from Spare Parts I found at Hobby Lobby.

This album is pretty chunky, with a spine measuring 4 inches wide.  The cover is 8 1/2 inches tall and 9 3/4 inches wide.  There are 7 pages inside, measuring 8 inches tall by 8 1/2 inches wide.  I designed it with an assortment of photo sizes in mind.  There is plenty of space for 4x6 or 4x5.3 (standard digital size) photos as well as other fun sizes.  Such as 4x4, 4x3, 2x3 ans 2x2, but you are of course not limited to these sizes.  There are full sized pages with room for 5x7 photos as well.

I just realized that I put all the photos in reverse order, oops!  But you get the idea!

Disney 6x6 Paper Bag Album using Simple Stories "Say Cheese" 1 and 2 **SOLD**

My family and I went to Disneyland last year, and I have been collecting supplies for quite some time, probably close to 10 years or more.  I knew we would go one day and wanted to be prepared!  After I finished my own personal album I realized I had a serious stash left over, so I decided to create a few albums with the leftovers.

I absolutely LOVE the Simple Stories Say Cheese collections, they are so cute and fun!  They were so popular that they have the original Say Cheese and the Say Cheese II.

My other latest fun thing is magnets.  I have been using the Basic Grey adhesive ones, and they work wonderfully.  However, they are kind of pricey to buy in any quantity so I did some research on the internet and came across K&J Magnetics and ordered these.  They haven't arrived in the mail so I haven't got to try them out yet.  I have to wait and see for those!

These albums were inspired by this woman's YouTube Channel, and I love her style.  After watching a few (several!) of her videos, I had to give it a try.  I love all the flaps, pockets and extra doodads.  I didn't really measure for this one, I just based all of the sizes off of the 6x6 inch page.   I also made a YouTube video showing this album as well.  Pardon my wobbliness, I don't have a fancy overhead camera and just used my phone!

Stack the Deck 6x6 album **SOLD**

So I have had this collection of papers and doodads for a while and wanted to make something, but I didn't know what..  Then I happened along this tutorial a few days ago!  I knew I had to try it and knew exactly the papers I wanted to use.  This Stack the Deck binding technique is very simple and easy, with great looking results.  I grabbed a few pieces of matching cardstock to go with this Basic Grey 6x6 pad and away I went.


I made the cover out of three pieces of chipboard that I cut to the size I wanted, slightly larger than the 6x6 pages.  The envelopes I used are for 5x7 greeting cards, so 5.5x7.5 I think, and I just cut them to 6.25" long.  I did this assembly line style, meaning I pre-cut all the layers and flaps first, and then just randomly put them down on the pages.  It was pretty quick to put together once everything was assembled.
